I bought a 1TB external HDD which shows up in Settings of iOS app. It shows “Zero KB” and “Drive Format Required”, but pressing the blue “Format Drive” button didn’t do anything.
I tried unplug/plug the hard drive and restarting the Tablo, but still having the same issue.
Someone reported the other day that they could not format their external drive using their iOS device (I think it was an iPhone). Do you have a different device that you might be able to try this on? I have no idea if tvOS would work, but do you have any android-compatible devices you are able to test this on?
Hi there @Vu_Nguyen, we do indeed have a known bug with that feature on iOS. If you have any other Tablo app (such as Apple TV, Android/FireTV, or Roku), you can format it using those. We should also have an update coming soon for iOS with that fix.
