2 Tablos running on there network

Has anyone run 2 tablos on there network? I was thinking 1 tablo for tv programs and 1 for sports. Really like the 4th gen tablo 4th generation tablo with 4 tuners. I was thinking the 2 tuner version on sale wasnt a bad idea for sports. Any thoughts on this?

I bought a 2 tuner gen 4, back just before the 4 tuner came out. I quickly found that 2 tuners is not sufficient for me, and then bought a 4 tuner as well.
Tablo has a factory refurb store that is worth checking out.
BTW connecting both tablo’s to the same indoor antenna never gave me good results, so I put each one on its own antenna, which has been working well.

It will work, the Tablo app is designed to handle multiple ‘pucks’ but you will have to switch between them. In other words, if you record the evening news on one, and sports on the other, you are not going to see both in the ‘Library,’ but rather only the content from the puck that you are currently connected to. You need to got into the settings section of the app to switch between the two.

I have 3 Tablos. One legacy quad, a 2 tuner and 4 tuner gen4. They’re all connected to 1 antenna thru a 3 way splitter. The amplifiers, 2ea 20db gain, are connected between the antenna and the splitter. I need the amplifiers because I’m about 45 miles from the antenna farm.

I haven’t had near as many problems that I read about here. Could it be that I have enough amplification that is just shy of saturating the tuners?

Connected 2 tablos 4th generation 4 turners each now. No problem with signal loss with 1 antenna. 1 for sports now and 1 for tv shows/movies. Very happy with Tablo!!

That’s great to hear!
