Why is the World Series listed as MLB Baseball Does it have to do with what FOX called it?
Let me give you my guess.
In my DMA I receive both American and Mexican stations. Because of MLB blackout rules American stations rarely broadcast games before the playoffs. But Mexican stations simucast the weekend MLB games from tudam sports network.
So the first show that showed up in the guide was labeled as Beisbol MLB. And since the 14 day overlapped the start of the playoffs it’s still called Beisbol MLB in the guide.
