decided to connect to my 5grz wifi and got it running good i have netgear modem and router and its all in close range
well i guess my tablo does not like my wifi im back to wired i use to have an onn 4k and it never buffered on my wifi not sure what the problem is
What exactly is the streaming device you are using?

Its not that it “doesn’t like it”… Tablo to the streaming device is a direct client to client transfer.
Its a 3 way dance… Tablo, wireless router, shield.
You’re wireless router needs to be able to sustain it (cpu/mem). or the channel could be congested.

ok i changed some settings on my router well see if what i did helped my wifi
i think the problem is solved

tablo working on wifi no signal or buffering problems anymore

What changes did you make to your router? Cuz I’m having a little bit of buffering on one channel but the rest are fine.

i changed the wifi channel to one that worked well you will just have to see what works best for you and i set up QOS (quality of service) and set priorities if your using ethernet just do the qos
also keep in mind you will never filter out buffering 100% due to internet provider issues it will still happen from time to time
and you might consider setting your dns server to cloudfare its a good fast reliable dns and its free
