If you don’t want to sideload the Tablo Android APK to the Fire TV Stick which requires a separate mouse to be purchased you can do the following:
Use the Tablo Plex channel to playback recordings. You need the Plex app on the Fire TV Stick. You need the Tablo channel installed in your Plex Media Server (PMS) and that’s it.
The Fire TV Stick DirectPlays all your recordings so there is no CPU load on your PMS for transcoding. As well, the 30 second FF and 15 RW works really well. The FF is a lot nicer than the FF on the Roku 3, believe it or not.
