What date does "Keep Last" use?

I’m new to Tablo. I only want to keep that last 5 episodes of an old TV show using this feature.

Does Keep Last 5 mean:

  1. Last 5 based on the date they were recorded on Tablo?
  2. Last 5 based on the original air date of the TV show?

The FAQ or instructions don’t seem to be clear on this.

Interesting question.

We’ll wait for the experts but I’m assuming date recorded not original air date.

I agree with assumption by @theuser86, in my experience it’s the date recorded.

It is the last X shows by date recorded.
