I have a Tablo 4- tuner OTA DVR. It has the capability to connect to external disk drives. Will I get better write and read performance by having two disk drives. Like when recording 3 movies and watching another. It seems to me if program to handle it, two drives would perform better.
Also, if true and I use two drives to the combination of the two need to be under the 8TB limit
It will only read one drive, period. Attach one 2-8TB drive and go.
Each recording is dozens of segments, it’s not writing one big file.
If USB 2.0 is “fast enough” it’s unlikely the drive is slowing down your taboo, it can read faster than wifi can send/receive data.
