Tablo will not record and I cannot activate recording anything new

my tablo suddenly quit recording any shows. I can see all of the recordings up till about a week ago. now it is not recording anything and I cannot set any new shows to record or change any recording settings on any of the existing recording series.
has anyone experienced this?

Do you have a paid subscription for the Tablo?

To expand a bit on what theuser86 is getting at. When you buy a new Tablo, you get a free-trial of the guide data (optional subscription). When the subscription ends, you no longer get 2 weeks of guide data or fancy pictures. You only get 2 days in the live TV screen.

Without guide data, you have to use manual recordings (setting name, channel, start, and duration) because that information came from the guide data before.
