Hi folks -

An update to the 4th Generation Tablo app for Roku is now available.

This includes a few small tweaks that should make your day-to-day Tablo use more enjoyable.

You should see the update shortly, but if you’d like to get it right away, navigate to the Tablo app on your Roku device’s home screen and hit the star button (*) on your Roku remote. Then select ‘Check for Updates’.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Adds ability to dismiss scrubber bar when paused, if needed
  • Fix to ensure edits to Favorites list are reflected on Home and Live TV screens
  • Other bug fixes and performance improvements

Experiencing connectivity issues? Try deleting and re-adding the Tablo app on your Roku.

Sad that the Legacy Tablos were ignored.

Did someone make a failed attempted o fix the “News” menu. I use to get “All Networks” - no longer. And the “Networks” ribbon only has FOX, ABC, CBS, and NBC. Not the channels with the best local news like CW and PBS.

Is this new to this release. Why when I start the gen 4 Roku app I get the “Welcome to Tablo” splash banner. And I have to click on continue. What a waste.

I find the roku app much more smoother and stable than both tvos and android

Don’t you wish the data was complete and correct.

While I don’t care for “Home”, at least tablo could figure out what Network Premieres means. Yesterday the Home menu declared that “The Young And the Restless” Season 53 Episode 239 as Premiering. I’m not sure that NAB considers episode 239 premiering.

The newest version of the app on Roku TV, if you are recording 2 shows and try to watch a third, instead of an error message now it just boots you back to the Roku screen.

I have similar problem, when viewing a live channel and then choose a channel that is weak instead of the error message it boots you all the way out of the app. You have to reload the app to get back online.

I reported the exiting to ROKU issue and Tablo said it is a known issue and they have reported it to engineering.
