Tablo outage - what triggers offline mode?

So Tablo status page shows an outage and I cannot find my Ethernet wired Tablo even after multiple restarts.

What would typically trigger a Tablo to run offline mode?

I’ve had my Tablo just over a week and this is already the second outage - is Tablo always so unreliable?

The Tablo is back now and status page is showing all green as well.

Given Tablo devices are connected to a physical antenna I wish the developers would do the authentication housekeeping in the background and enable customers to at least watch Tablo OTA channels - ideally with no artificial interruptions.

Tablo is usually pretty reliable. Yes, there are occasional problems, some that last longer than others. I won’t deny that. I find that the down time is comparable to what I used to experience with Cable or Satellite, but for a $100.00 box with no recurring fees, I don’t complain too much.

You happen to have started using your at an inconvenient time. Dig in and start using it. I think you will be happy.

Offline mode does allow you to watch OTA channels. And I believe playback of recordings.

It is triggered anytime the device cannot communicate with the Tablo servers.

Last night mine was flickering on and off all evening.
