I recently purchased a new larger hard drive (5 tb Seagate Backup Plus) to replace my current one (1 tb WD Elements) in use. I’ve tried copying the files over on two different MacBooks using the suggested Paragon software with the same results. The files seem to copy over successfully, but when I try to play videos using the new hard drive, the audio cuts out sometimes using the Roku. A way to remedy this I found was to fast-forward briefly and then play the video. If I do that the audio comes back. Sadly it’s only a temporary fix. if I try to play the videos on my Android device they simply error out and will not play. Not all of the videos seem to be affected.
Any suggestions on how to remedy this, or do I need to just start over fresh with the new hard drive? Thanks for your insight!
