So I’m new here, but I want to be as specific as possible. I have a Roku Ultra in my den, using a wired connection. In the other room, a Series S TCL Roku tv. It is about 20 feet from my Netgear Knighthawk dual band router. The TCL is connected to the 5G band.
The wired connection to my Roku Ultra has no issue. It never crashes or exits spontaneously.
The wireless however exits after 15 minutes.
I’ve switched channels to one with no traffic. No luck. I’m not certain how different the Roku TV is vs the Roku Ultra.
The Wired Roku is getting about 95MB down, the wireless about 25MB down so there is some signal impediment. I’m adding a Netgear Mesh Extender tomorrow, i’m hoping it is simply signal degradation.
Has anyone checked to see if the issue with exit to guide on a wired connection or has it all been wireless?
