Does the new dual run cooler than the old 2 tuner and substantially cooler than the 4? I’ve gone through a fair number of cooling designs and sizing heat sinks to keep junction temps down, and I guess I’m just too aware of the mtbf advantages of good thermal designs… so I just can’t see myself happy with a heater that records. Any speculation on an actively cooled quad tuner?
Meanwhile I might just start with the dual and a self powered desktop hard disk. I’m Almost ready… Roku is in, antenna is in, wired gb network is in, and my switch routes traffic directly to the roku without using the router’s hub…
