Tablo continues to connect

Hi, had to unplug all my equipment for a few hours. Plug everything back in and now tablo just say connecting (in ipad app) and it seems to never connect. If I go on my Apple TV, and select connect just keeps giving me option to try again or cancel. I’ve unplug and let set for a few min. I’ve used the reset button. Have a solid blue light on unit itself. Just can seem to get past the “connecting”.

It did this a few weeks ago, and I kept fiddling with it, and it came back. Not sure what I’m doing different this time?

Any suggestions?

I don’t use those devices but I’ll give it a guess.

When you back out of an app without doing a tablo disconnect, some apps like to remember the address of where you were last attached. This speeds things up by not having to perform a broadcast looking for the device. If things change it tries to connect to the wrong IP,etc.

Some apps let you logically delete the tablo unit from the app. This clears data and after it’s re-added it rescans for the unit.

Maybe clearing the app data or deleting and re-adding the app will allow for a rescan.
