All was fine with my Tablo until last night. I had recorded a show earlier in the evening, and watched it last night. Within a half-hour I tried to connect to Tablo using my iPad (which I do almost daily), and it would not connect. I unplugged the Tablo unit, no luck. I deleted my Tablo AP and reinstalled, same issue. My WIFI is fine – I can connect to the web using my iPhone and my iPad. Just all of a sudden Tablo will not connect – using my iPad or my AppleTV. I made no changes. One minute it worked, the next it did not. Help!! The unit is about four years old.
If you haven’t rebooted your router, do that. While it should be pretty rare, sometimes the Tablo and a client device lose connection, and a router reboot will usually fix it.
I did that tonight – along with unplugging the Tablo for a few seconds. Still no connection.
