Suddenly stopped recording all shows

I found some very old threads on this, but didn’t see a resolution.

At some point over this past weekend, My Tablo dual lite just stopped recording shows. The orange flag in the upper right corner of the event listing was not there for any of my scheduled recordings.

I had to go into each show and toggle the record selection from “New” to “All” or “All” to “New” and then back to the original setting in order for the orange flag to reappear and start recording shows again.

This doesn’t seem to be a common issue, since there are very few threads about it. If you’ve had this happen, maybe the above workaround will prevent you from having to delete and fully re-add your shows, as someone several years ago posted they had to do.

If anyone knows what causes this, please let me know so I can try to catch it before I miss any more recordings.

What kind of subscription do you have? The time when this happened to pretty much everyone was when the Tablo servers accidently reset all the subscriptions. I am just curious if you let a subscription expire briefly before renewing it.

There was also a major repack of channels last Friday, and if you were in that area and didn’t rescan till now, it would explain the missing recordings. But it shouldn’t cause future recordings to not show up (I did a rescan Friday and didn’t have to redo any of my schedules).

I have a lifetime guide subscription. I wonder if something went weird with the 14 day guide that’s in beta. I’ll do a rescan and check everything after that.

? Is this in reference to 14 days displayed in Roku? Or some beta testing?

In my settings (via roku) it has a setting to enable the 14 day guide, and has 'beta" in parenthesis. So I assume the 14 day guide is still experimental.
