Spanish audio not english

I’m having the same problem.

If this is an NFL game(and only the NFL game) on fox it’s probably the same problem as previously reported. Fox added Spanish simulcast as an alternate audio channel to NFL games this year and some stations don’t appear to have the OTA audio metadata correct. Mine works fine and I’ve verified it has the spanish audio simulcast

I would contact the station engineer and report the problem and maybe open a ticket with tablo with the station ID. Maybe they will take mercy on you and send some info to the station.

I have the same issue and it is related to the Tablo picking up the wrong audio track. This is only an issue with KLJB Fox 18 in the the Quad Cities. I have been using Tablo since April 2015 and this issue just started a few months ago. I reset the Tablo and even tried rescanning the channels. If I put an OTA antenna on the TV’s tuner then I don’t have the issue. This is so annoying and no one seems to want to take responsibility for the issue. I am blaming Tablo for not taking responsibility for this issue.

I have NFL games on CBS and Fox. Both have english and spanish audio channels and my tablos don’t have any issues.

This must be an engineering problem with KLJB. And when you use the OTA directly into the TV, at a minimum, are the audio channels properly labeled?

I have also had my OTA 4 tuner network connected unit for a while. about 4 years. and this was not an issue until lately. i barely watch much tv. let alone football. all programs i ususally record are on 4,6,8 quad cities IL channels.

changing anything regarding ‘default audio’ - channel rescan. does nothing. this is an issue with the Tablo software/hardware. or - everyone - everywhere would have this issue. thought about upgrading to a new box however not if there are still issues like this with no resolution. hoping this thread gets kicked up. and maybe a quick response from TABLO support.

Submit a ticket with more details if you haven’t already. I believe in most reports of this in the past the issue ended up being on the broadcaster side of things.

We definitely recommend reading this article in its entirety; there are several nuances as to how this feature works. If this doesn’t help, don’t hesitate to contact our support team and we can take a closer look.

Sorry about that! Fixed the link above.

This should be wild. Where I’ve lived it is common for 2 different games to start at the same time. One station could be correct and one could be wrong. Of course games are also back to back on different channels. It would be very hard to use the extend live while also time flipping the setting for the start of a new game on a different channel.

Tablo Support,

Have you ever made contact with KLJB to see if they are willing/able to resolve this issue?

Anyone else - have you tried the new audio settings? Does it solve the problem or does it change the audio on all the other channels?
