How cpu-intensive is the Plex Channel for TabloTV for the Plex server?


I would like to use my FireTV or another Plex enable set-top box, so I need to set up a Plex server as a conduit for the stream.

Is the Plex server transcoding the stream, or is the Plex just a wrapper.
