Scanned channel guide mismatch

I have a problem similar to what we experienced last July/Aug and I was wondering if anyone else is having similar issues.

I’m not sure if it is related to the last upgrade or the 3rd party that handles the guide but the guide does not match the scanned channels. Example: my local CBS affiliate station is 13.1. The guide shows it to be PBS showing AMERICAN REVOLUTION. When you select it the correct CBS program appears but it will not record correctly because it does not see the correct program.

Other scanned channels just don’t display or are incorrect as well.

I’ve rescanned twice and updated the guide multiple times as well but no joy.

My next move, a hard reset I guess and setup from scratch. There goes my record settings and recordings as well. If you guys know of server failure or any thing else going on out there please let me know. I’ll hold off on the reset.

Please tell me you are not in zip code 88030. Gracenote’s TVlistings for that zip shows way too many duplicate virtual channel numbers. No way Tablo will ever be smart enough to figure out which station you are actually tuned to and get you the right guide data.

It may be a good idea to switch your Tablo’s zip code to another nearby one. That can resolve these issues.

I’ve tried this in Boston and it doesn’t work.

I’ve got 3 channels that have incorrect guide info for different networks. What’s strange is that the correct network is displayed on the channel lineup in settings but the guide shows a different network and programming.
