I use the Tivos strength meter, another reason would be good to have meter in Tablo. Didn’t most of the DTA converters when digital first came out show actual channel in their strength meters too?
Might work if you have a tuner that will lock on to the channel. But you are SOL if you are trying to figure out why the tuner doesn’t detect the channel.
Tivo also provides all the repeaters in channel lineup and every channels real and virtual number signal or not, before the hosting one my stations was VHF for my area, I could receive a repeater for other area UHF better. One of those converters would be good to see if Tablo chose right one to use.
