Remote access without requiring static IP address

This is somewhat tied to a previous issue discussed. It would be very beneficial (for users who cannot receive a static IP address from the ISP), to offer remote access to our Tablo recordings/guide without requiring a static IP address and manual router port forwarding configurations (think - remote program scheduling at a minimum).

Two examples:

1.) Zmodo provides this solution. LAN based IP cameras that requires no specialized router setup/config for WAN access - full remote access to the cameras/motion detection images when located anywhere in the world - no static WAN IP address required, only “a” WAN connection and “a” user account.

2.) Ecobee provides this solution. LAN based IP thermostat that requires no specialized router setup/config for WAN access - full remote access to the thermostat when located anywhere in the world - no static WAN IP address required, only “a” WAN connection and “a” user account.

Thx.

Yup.

And you too can get your very own spot on the Shodan list.

For me, no thank you. I want something more than an unprotected web server with only a username and password.
