Remaining lifetime subscription benefits

That’s correct. Only American companies can change their TOS on a whim daily. Eh? Canada.

TOS is terms of service and it covers the lifetime of the service. So, if the service ends, so do the terms. Just my read.

Even if the service is in perpetuity TOS can be modified.

TOS should also contain provisions for when the service ends and after.

As amended.

Yes?

Reading through the summarized Subscription Agreement using my favorite AI bot, I realized that there could be some issue with the lifetime subscription with Legacy features that were only available with the subscription (like Tablo Connect and Prime Time View) that are no longer or will be no longer be available once the Legacy app and services stop working. Lucky for Nuvyyo that they included Manual Recording without a subscription or it would also be on this list.

Hopefully they’re working on a replacement for Tablo Connect and including Manual Recording to cover their bases.

It could be possible that they will again charge for these services for the Gen4 app, in which case those that already had the Legacy subscription could be grandfathered in or offered a rebate to purchase it again.

This is pure speculation…from the bot…

The question isn’t really whether Tablo can discontinue an old app. It’s whether it can take something that was sold as a Lifetime TV Guide Data Service, preserve only some of its functionality in the replacement app, and still call the original lifetime obligation fulfilled.

Yea. I’m sorry but naught for bot. They are unreliable yet convincing. Like automated memes. Summarized.

Why should I have to drill down into each sports category for a list. Legacy has Sports/All. Show All of them on the same page. Should I be trying to figure out what sports are missing because they don’t fit into a pre-canned “By Sport”

No sir. You shouldn’t have to.

On legacy I currently only have 22 sports containers. While I’m old I don’t think my brain has rotted to the point I can’t handle maybe 30. And what is strange about your list is where did the car racing go, There are a NASCAR, Indy Grand Prix, IMSA Sportscar Champion Ship coming up this week.

I dunno. I don’t watch that junk anyway. I don’t use any of those screens.

I only look at the Live Guide to discover there’s nothing on TV that interests me.

Then I read.

So I guess you don’t know if some the screens and menus you reference actually work.

Nope.

We do have an All Sports option under the Featured shelf on the Sports page.

Commercial Skip service IS Premium Service subscription. There’s “regular” subscription and premium subscription, which did not have a lifetime level

Balloons for everyone!

I guess you still don’t get it. With legacy apps there is an all sport selection. It displays the sport by individual league. All NFL, MLB, individual soccer leagues, individual golf leagues, etc.

Even using a gen 4 app such as Roku or Fire TV Stick accessing legacy what you get under all sports is a monolithic list of each game ordered maybe alphabetically by who is playing who.

I don’t need a list of 82 individual events when there are only 22 categories.
