On all the platforms everyone is/are using, is it possible to turn off automatic updates? Then rollback the last release?

I can’t do this on my Android phone, my LGTV or Fire 4k. Uninstall…only.

It only works for pre-installed apps to reset to factory release. But I can turn off automatic updates.

How about allowing users the option to select the prior stable release to backout an unforseen destabilizing update.

Customers should not be performing real world certification testing and debugging. They don’t possess the skills or patience generally speaking.

How would this work in the roku channel store without changes to roku OS and the channel store.

I don’t know or care. It’s a problem for them to solve. They’re the experts not us.

This has been a problem long before there was a tablo. And with cloud based apps the problem is more complex. After all these years I’m sure the various app stores are busily making changes to address tablos development problems.
