Recording playback stops and returns to watch menu

It seems that since the last Tablo Update in June 2021 I have had playback issues. I have a hard wired Tablo watching it on an AppleTV 4K. While watching a recording the recording suddenly stops and goes back to the watch menu. This happens over and over every several minutes. I have reset the router, re-installed the Tablo app, powered down the Tablo and powered on, reset the Apple TV. Previously the device has worked fine for several years without any other hardware changes recently.
