This is no big deal but I have noticed over 5-6 events that if I’m recording a show and watching the show when it comes to the end of the show I get kicked out to the main screen and have to go back in to watch the following show. If this makes sense… I had news from 6-7 and same news from 7-8 being recorded. I was also watching it live and at 7 it kicked out to the main screen and I had to go back in to continue watching. No big deal but wondered why.
My guess is it’s another feature. My Fire Stick 4k G2 does the same thing. I didn’t open a problem ticket because it’s too much effort.
It does it just watching FAST or OTA. Hitting the back button it goes too many clicks.
BTW that was a new feature in release 1.9.0?
It’s like a dog that has gas. You gotta get accustomed to it or get rid of it.
This is a known bug with the Tablo. If you are watching a program live, while also recording it, when it gets to the end of the recording time it will kick back to the guide. When the Tablo finishes a recording it does some sort of closeout routine, including generating the image thumbnails. I believe this process has something to do with why it kicks out at the end of each show.
I agree, it is a bit annoying, but considering what a bargain the Tablo is I can’t complain.
