Bingo. I finally called customer support and after establishing that I now have fantastic reception . . The HDD (Panasonic portable 1 TB) seems to be the culprit. I can watch anything and everything with that disconnected, but I can’t record anything😕. I tried replacing it with a Seagate Expansion Plus 3 TB, but it reverted back into the apparent ‘disconnect’ problem. I ordered a WD Element 2TB hard drive today and it should be here Wednesday . . I just don’t need a 5 TB as recommended with the Seagate line. Fingers crossed! Thanks, again for your help!
