No access over wired PC when Tablo is wifi

Hi, all!

My Tablo is connected to my home network via wifi. I can access it fine at home on my iPad and remotely over an iPhone.

However, I can’t connect to it from my PC at home that’s wired to the internet (using my.tablotv.com).

What am I missing here?

Please provide details about your network setup. What is the IP address of the tablo (server host from settings). What is the IP address of the PC. What is the IP address if the IPAD. The wireless access point and the tablo and the PC need to be in the same subnet.

Tablo: 192.168.1.17
PC: 192.168.1.9
iPad: 192.168.1.5

I was just able to access the Tablo using the Tablo Ripper, pointing to 192.168.1.17, but when I try to connect from my PC at my.tablotv.com (using Edge), I get this message: A connection to your Tablo could not be established. Please check your internet connection.

Maybe Edge is configured to only use secure connections. Make sure Edge is using http and not https.

I use http://my.tablotv.com and get the problem :frowning:

MS Edge browser currently doesn’t work with the Tablo.
Depending on the Tablo firmware version, and Mozilla Firefox version, they won’t work together either, although, I can use Firefox to connect to my Tablo right now.
However, an update on the Tablo firmware, or Firefox could break that.
Google Chrome is one of the main web browsers they designed the Tablo to work with.

I just found out you’re right, Radojevic….I was trying Chrome just as you posted your response  It connects OK with Chrome.

Thanks, everyone, for your help!

Just for reference…

Not fully supported on all browsers - optimized for Chrome and Safari

Some users can get Edge to work, but I never have. So I stick to Chrome.

Another option if you have Windows 10 on your PC is to run the Tablo app available in the Microsoft Store.

I don’t think @Radojevic is the one who was wrong once… when he thought he make a mistake - but he genuinely helps out. I guess almost everyone does, even if it’s “IDK, why don’t you try…”

Hey, thanks…the app works great!
