Nobody is overselling anything. You don’t engage in bloated hyperbole from time to time? ATSC 3.0 has specified goals. Testing has already begun. There are ATSC 3.0 tuners on the market in Asia and one in America. ATSC 3.0 is supposed to parallel 1.0 for 5 years giving people the option to use 1.0 or 3.0. Please read the specs before making useless comments…

If 3.0 makes OTA reception a lot easier, then people will use it. Nobody has to change antennas since RF is RF regardless of protocol. Or didn’t you know that? It’s called electrical engineering…:thinking:

I think I am sold on tablo now. I am getting it for my fiance’s house and that was still have TiVo in my house that way I can test them both.

I have read many posts over the past 4 years asking for a 30 second skip on the Roku client. Did this ever get done?

Never, maybe 5-10 max.

The thumbnails work much better than a fixed interval. I can cut thru 3 min commercials in secs and never have to back up.

Interesting. I actually use FF with my Tivo for the same. Faster than many 30-second button stabs.

I second this thought.

Before Tablo, I was a cable subscriber. I never had a cable DVR that had thumbnails that would show you exactly where you were in a recording. Regardless of FF or skip buttons, these thumbnails are simply fantastic IMO.

I would venture to say this has been our most popular feature enhancement EVER.

Now we just have to work on something that would top it :wink:

It is not important to me, but there is an easy answer - 5.1 surround sound.

I would love a guide button so if you want to look at the guide for what is coming up you can, and leave the current channel in a small screen playing. Now that would be the topper…
