Show which Tablo is active
I have a Tablo Legacy and a new Tablo. When using the new App, which is the only one we will have going forward, I would love to have a notification on the screens as to which Tablo I am working with. Also, an easier way to switch Tablos would be nice too.
This is a very painful issue for me when using Roku. I have 3 Rokus and have to go thru a million button pushes to determine which Roku I’m on.
The Android screen shot below is the home page. Some very useful, time saving, functions are right there. I can search, go to settings or select the third icon which brings up all of my Tablos so I can select the one I want.
With the Roku I have to do what feels like a million button pushes to get to settings where after a few more pushes I can select the Tablo that I want to connect to. I have suffered with this ever since G4 has been out and I am totally frustrated.
There is a lot of space at the top of the Roku home page to put a lot of convenience icons, even the name of the Tablo.
I’m not sure any of the gen 4 app were designed for a user that has multiple tablo units.
On the legacy fire tv stick app they changed the switch tablo option to the bottom of the settings page. Which is 15+ clicks away from the recordings menu.
@zippy I misread your post. The Android developers must have made convenience a priority.
