Feature Type New Feature Requested App Platform All Tablo Apps Feature Title Live vs New Tag Feature Description I wish that instead of Live programs being listed as New they could have it listed as live with a live tag. Who is with me on this one because newscast and sports programs are always list as new when they should be listed as Live with the Live tag

Would all OTA broadcasts be Live? Whether they’re New or Rerun? They are in progress when you click on them. Can’t start them from the beginning.

Well that gives a whole new meaning to the existing features extend Live and record New.

But when people think of live, they think of it happening at the same moment they are seeing it with maybe a few second delay.

So if they broadcast a funeral is it still live? Like someone important… joking :grinning_face:.

But I don’t disagree with what you say about the word. However everything in the world has changed the use of the word “Live” in the VOD, FAST every website uses it differently than you want. Every streaming app would need to change.

There are false assumptions in the feature request. There are sports events that are neither Live or New.

I live on the west coast. In August ION broadcast back-to-back WNBA games from 4:30 PDT to 8PM PDT. These were Live and New. They rebroadcast them 9PM to 1AM. And these were neither Live or New. Gymnastics, Swimming, track and field and any EU sport is usually not Live but is usually New.
