My Tablo has been quietly humming along so it’s been a while since I’ve searched out any movies to record.

Yesterday when looking at Movies, I noticed that the only categories I get on my iPad, iPhone, and web browser are All & Channels. My AppleTV still gives me ratings. Nothing gives me genre anymore.

Is this normal, did we lose these these options in an update somewhere along the line?

I do have a ticket open with @TabloSupport on another topic, wondering if I should add this to it.

I still have genres on my Chrome browser and Android phone app, though it does not appear in the Roku app.

This is due to the phasing out of our older back-end communication method.

Some of the filters still need some massaging on the new one before we can add them back.

The recent recordings tab disappeared!

Hi folks - There were some pretty major changes under the hood in this last iPhone update. One of the changes was switching the back-end communication method between the app and the Tablo. This particular feature will need to be added in a future update using this new communication method.
