I have other ways to watch on the other TVS all have Rokos, Apple TV, Amazon and blue ray dvd players that have smart TV things on them so I am all set.
I understand your desire for the 5.1 surround sound, many share this desire.
But as others have stated, simply using a HDMI splitter does not create a whole home DVR system. Even though you have 4 tuners, you will not be able to watch multiple channels/recordings on different TV’s at the same time. If you have never had a whole home DVR system then this may seem trivial - you don’t miss what you’ve never had. But a whole home DVR system is very nice & is something I was/am unwilling to give up. And given that you have now mentioned that you do own streaming devices, Tablo would easily be the least expensive way for you to obtain an OTA whole home DVR system.

I’m not happy. I can’t record days of our lives for my wife because its not among the select group of shows tablo allows you to record and guide is a joke. Do more research than me so you dont have to return it with disgust like me.
