So on pretty much every show I record, at some point when I’m watching the show it will stop working and say ‘loading’ for about 2 seconds and then the show will restart about 5 seconds back.
Now before anyone says wi-fi it’s not. I have a Roku 3 and both the Roku and the tablo are plugged directly into my router. Any ideas?
Yes. Search this Community for “LPW” or “Loading Please Wait” and you will see countless threads about this issue.
Some are suggesting that the newest version of Roku firmware (still in beta) may have fixed the issue for some users. Meanwhile, you may want to ensure that in Settings you have not ticked the box for Fast Live TV Start Up and that your recording speed is what Tablo recommends 720 - 5Mbps. Those changes may help.
