Likely impossible. Maybe on a new super smart TV where it could take commands to switch inputs and then change the channel. But on many dumb TVs, definitely no way.
I understand smart TV to be network capable, so dumb would be antenna/cable onlyā¦ how do you conclude no way? Possibly with a smart TV one my never bother running coax, should be considered an oversight, but itās not possible for everyone. But if your TV isnāt network capable, there is certainty a way.
Even Best Buyās Insignia Fire Edition TV has an antenna input. I donāt believe itās designed to function easily with OTA, maybe Alexa can help - but how bad do you want to free up a tuner, conflict resolution.
