Was wondering if there is a code or way I can use to get Tablo to scan for all signals? I brought this to use in Japan so my wife can stream j-tv in the states but it only scans for us/Canada signals based on zip.
The Tablo is strictly for US and Canadian customers. It can’t be used in any other country.
Japan uses the ISDB standard for HD broadcasts. The US (and Canada) use ATSC. The Tablo unit isn’t going to work there even if you could get it to scan for channels.
Sorry @Bregah! The Tablo cannot currently be used in Japan. As mentioned above, it is currently supported In the United States and Canada.
