I often watch Tablo from my iPad. Very often, I pause (while watching) and don’t make it back to the tablo before my iPad goes to sleep (screen off). When I wake up my iPad, it needs to reconnect and whatever I was watching has lost its position. This is getting really frustrating.
My experience is with a Roku, but might be the same issue.
Pausing Live TV on my Roku will stay paused for 3 - 20 minutes depending on Roku OS version, Roku Tablo app version, Tablo firmware version.
Main point is pausing Live TV will automatically unpause within a few minutes.
