I just added the Tablo channel to my plex server and it just says that it can’t locate a tablo on my network, though the tablo is there and is working on all my devices. Both my plex server and my tablo are on the same network:
Plex: 192.168.0.101
Tablo: 192.168.0.30
When I look at: https://api.tablotv.com/assocserver/getipinfo/ I get back success:true with all the information about my tablo. Is there something I am missing here?
Hello Tablo Plex Users.
Is anyone else having issues getting the Tablo to work on Plex on a remote connection?
Mine works locally, but Plex throws an error when trying to play content remotely.
The channels show, and the image of the show (so I know it’s talking)…
The operation could not be complete
An unknown error occurred (-112880)
I only have iOS devices to test with.
I installed the new beta version of the Plex channel with the same results.
Any info/help appreciated.

I have the same issue; PLEX cannot locate my Tablo but when I run getipinfo I too get success and Tablo data returned. However, my PLEX did see tablo once but I could’nt watch tv. I restarted PLEX and have not been able to see tablo since. What am I missing? My PLEX and Tablo work perfectly, independant of each other, and I have tested both on my local network and over 4g without any issues. Any suggestions why I cant use Tablo through plex on any device? Thanks
Quick Update: PLEX and/or Tablo seem to be bipolar. All of a sudden PLEX can see Tablo but it only shows me 5 of my tv channels and none of my recordings. I then backed out of Tablo to the PLEX home screen and went back to the Tablo channel and it once again tells me it cant connect to Tablo. Any suggestions?

The TabloTV channel for Plex seems to no longer work. Here’s my Plex log:

When I navigate to “http://192.168.2.147:18080/plex/rec_id” in a browser I get a 404. Any idea if the recent Tablo update broke this?
The API actually changed over a year ago, but they finally removed the last remnants of the old API.
