Normally get great reception on my Tablo 4g, especially on out local FOX station. Yesterday, during the World Cup Final, we had constant freezing, blue spinning circles, pixellation. Other channels (except Telemundo with the same programming and on the same main Channel) were fine. Ordinarily, I would think this was a home reception/network issue but the issues went away as soon as the show was over.
What could cause the FOX signal to be so bad during the game and not at all other times?
Chapel Hill, NC. The local Fox station has a good signal, albeit 30 miles away. I have an amplified Televes Dinova Boss antenna.
WRAZ 50 Fox 720p and WRTD 54 Telemundo 480i in the Raleigh area?
- Spinner indicates Wi-Fi burden
- Spinner indicates decoding errors
- Signal breakup would cause 2
It could be the Fox source transmission or a station RF15 broadcasting issue. If the other channels were good… Likely the feed to WRAZ.
No weather events in your area yesterday.
Correct. And the issues were ONLY during the game. None before and none after and none on any of the subchannels.
I smell a rat…
There were also video glitches during the WC Final on my Tablo or OTA internal TV tuner in 87015 so it doesn’t look like it was a local problem.
It’s Herman all over again.
