Inconsistent state between 2 FireTV Tablo Preview apps

I have a Tablo Quad, and two TVs. Connected to each TV I have a FireTV 4k stick, in which I installed the Tablo Preview app. I schedule to record shows. After the shows have been recorded I decide do delete some of the recordings. When I do that from one of the TVs, the show is deleted, but when I go to check on the Tablo Preview app in the other TV, the show is still shown as being available (in spite of the fact that the other FireTV app connected to the other TV, it says it was deleted). If I try to watch the show on the TV that failed to remove the show from the recordings, it gives me an error (as it should because the show was deleted). But the point is that the other FireTV should have updated (because the show was deleted), and it should not show that recording as still available.

Has anybody experienced this problem? Is that a bug in the application?

Have you exited out of the PREVIEW app giving you problems and then gone back into it? Is the deleted recording still there?

Yes, I already exited from the Tablo Preview app, and then launched it again, but the show is still shown under “Recordings”.

And you’re 100% sure you’re not using the Original OG Tablo app? It is the PREVIEW app? The PREVIEW app retrieved it info from the Tablo on the fly, does sync like the OG app.

I just uninstalled the FireTV Tablo Preview app, and then installed it back again.
After doing that, then, the show(s) that had been deleted but were still being displayed as being available recordings disappeared, and the two applications (one on each TV) are displaying the same information.

But I don’t want to be doing that every time in order to make sure that the two TVs have the same information about the status of recorded shows.

I agree, you shouldn’t have to do that. It’s an odd occurrence, maybe others will chime in.

I should add another observation, that MAY be related to this. I have been experiencing 1 or two instances a day, where the FireTV Tablo Preview apps indicates it cannot find the Tablo. The shows that I was having problem with in terms of the two apps not showing consistent state about whether the shows were deleted or not, had been recorded overnight, but this morning when I woke up, the apps could not find Tablo. So I had to unplug the power, wait 1 minute, and plug the power back, so that the apps would be able to find the Tablo again (I guess a reset would have achieved the same). After doing that, both Fire TV Tablo Preview apps could once again “see” the Tablo. It was then that I deleted the shows from one TV, but was still seeing it as not deleted in the other TV. Still I think that the two apps (one in each TV), would have synchronized what they displayed in terms of status of deleted shows, after they reconnected to the Tablo.
