Hot, hot, hot!

My new Tablo is 99 degrees Fahrenheit on the top of the box.  I’ve read elsewhere about these getting warm, but that’s just crazy.  Why do they have to run so hot?  Or is mine defective?  As far as operation goes, it seems to work just fine, and it’s only using between 7.5 and 8 watts, but I’m considering using it as a coffee mug warmer to try to make use of all of that wasted heat.

Okay, I’ve just run across the blog article saying that these can sometimes heat to 118F.  I wouldn’t have thought this to be normal if I hadn’t read it, but since it’s been addressed, I won’t worry about it anymore.

Thanks!

@saturnnights - As per the blog post, nothing to worry about at all. :)
