Tuning a Live TV channel is slow on all Tablo clients - has to do with the fact they are transcoding the signal on the fly, so there is a delay while a buffer is created. What you’ll find is that if you tune a channel, then say browse to another channel, if you go back to the first channel it will tune right away - because it already is buffered.
This is why people who watch a lot of Live TV talk about connecting your OTA antenna to the TV’s tuner and watching Live TV from that tuner, which isn’t transcoding, and tunes as you’re probably used to.
So long story short - slow Live TV tuning on the Roku, isn’t a wireless vs wired thing - it’s a Tablo thing. If your video streams play smoothly after they start (using Roku on WiFi) I’d say you’re done for now! Enjoy!!

Gracias. Good to know. I think I’m ok with waiting 5-10 seconds for the channel. The guide and not switching inputs is the most important thing about getting the Tablo.
