When I first installed my Tablos external hard I simply connected it with no protective enclosure. I ordered an enclosure to protect the hard drive. When I turned my Tablos back on and looked at my TVs each with Firesticks I couldn’t get any of the live or recorded channels. All I was getting was spinning wheel on each one. I thought for sure that I somehow needed to re-format the hard drive. However it turns out all I had to do was cycle power on each of my Firesticks where they re-established connectivity to the Tablos DVR. I hope my experience helps someone else.
