i had a 4 tuner tablo which died today after 1 year of service.
i kept my old 2 tuner model in the garage as a backup for just such an occurence, so i brought it in and did a factory reset and went through the install process on the tablo app.
i get as far as guide download which is just stuck at 0%. I’ve tried 5 times to download the guide data, always sticks at 0%.
i go into the tablo app on my roku and all i get is the welcome to tablo screen asking me to download the app with a qr code that i already have.
i’ve done a factory reset twice, i’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the tablo app on my roku, i’ve unstalled and reinstalled the tablo app on my phone twice, nothing will make the guide download start.
the tablo is useless right now and i can’t watch any tv. i’ve wasted hours of my time on a sunday when i wanted to watch football.
I’m having the exact same issue. Just moved to a new location.
update. i am now able to get into the guide but if i click on any program i get ‘error loading airing details’ and can’t select the channel. presumably related to not being able to load guide data (even though the guide is there and correct).
There were some intermittent server issues yesterday. For me, they had been resolved by this morning.
I would just try again.
i tried this morning, still won’t load. stuck on 0%.
i can click on channels in the program guide to watch live tv, but i can’t click on any programs (current or future), i just get an error msgs about ‘airing info not loaded’
another user suggested switching the zip code and it worked like a charm. now back up and running. a not so obvious solution to a very basic problem.
