I would like the ability to have recording start early either on a global, channel, series, or individual recording level. I would like this to be selectable in minute increments for up to 5 minutes. I’m finding that some shows beginnings are cut off. I shouldn’t have to make a manual recording to fix this.

It’s been requested multiple times. It is one of those enhancements that I do think will eventually be implemented, though it may be a while.
It should not be difficult to add.
