Yes, I primarily purchased a Mediasonic HomeWorx device as a backup—in case something changes, such as the manual recording option is removed from Tablo Legacy—so I can set a recording from the EPG, or if need be set a manual recording (on the HomeWorx). It was inexpensive (~$40) and does what I want it to do.
I looked at other alternatives (HomeRun, Zapperbox, but way more than I want to pay). I still have an AirTV that I was still using after I cancelled my Sling subscription (just used for OTA channels and FreeStream), but earlier this year AirTV must have moved to Gracenote(?) because overnight the same channels that show No Program Info on Tablo just disappeared from AirTV as well, and manual recording was never an option anyway.
So, I’m satisfied with what I have and not looking for any other alternatives, unless the whole situation changes with NextGen or something!
