PBS Newshour is broadcast on two channels; 10.1 and 10.2, at 7 and 4 o’clock respectively. I expect (and want) it to record the earlier broadcast on 10.2, but the scheduling fails to record it. Note it is also labeled “New” like the later broadcast. But then selecting “Record All” still does not record this earlier broadcast. Note I have rescanned channels and saved after reviewing a related topic, but to no avail.
My workaround is to manually enable each episode out two weeks when I see it missing, a lot of steps and rather a nuisance. I’ve been living with this for quite some time, so not a recent bug.
