Not a biggie but I got confused with the sort order of series recording episodes. Sometimes the most recent is on the right side and sometimes its on the left side (where you need to scroll off screen). Message to tablo developers. Can you make this consistent? Most recent episode to the left or to the top. Even better make it a user preference. Thank you. And thanks for the recent improvements regarding stability!
It might be helpful if the devs knew which version of the app you were referring to. AppleTV, Android/Fire, Roku, Samsung and LG all have different layouts and options.
Good point. Tablo 4th gen, 4 tuner, ONN 4K streaming device.
A few builds ago we changed the display order to default to All Seasons with shows displaying earliest to latest (seasons and episodes).
If youâd like to see later recordings first, you should be able to switch to Recently Recorded.
Hope this helps.
Yes, the ârecently recordedâ view is what I am looking for. Based on this I now kind of understand seasons and episodes. This seems to be info that comes on the listings of some shows. One more question. How does tablo determine what is a âNew episodeâ? Is it an episode that I currently donât have on the DVR? Or is it a âbroadcast premiereâ episode?
Iâm never sure how to fully use the âNewâ versus âAllâ option for recordings. New is a rather vague term.
The new badge is flaggedâŚ
For New Airings
New is flagged when the program in question is new to the channel.
All news episodes are New. The same with current talk shows.
Movies will be flagged New if they are new to a channel. Filming date is not a consideration. For instance, a movie released three years ago can still be flagged as new. A popular movie released last year might not be flagged as new. It all depends on if the movie has aired on the channel before.
For New Recordings
Unwatched recordings within a series are also flagged New. This is to differentiate between recorded programs that have already been watched and those you havenât watched yet.
