What’s the difference between the 2nd and 3rd Generation Tablo DVRs anyway?
It’s pretty clear which the 1st and 4th gen. models are because they’re different externally as well as internally.
It depends on whether the HDMI models are considered 3rd gen or in their own separate category. If they are “3rd gen”, then 2nd gen lumps all the Dual, Dual Lite, and Quad devices together.
If HDMI is a separate category, then you could split out the Dual and Quad models that came with internal storage vs. the models that sill relied on external storage (or briefly cloud based storage).
