I have a Firestick and Chromecast. Tablo app has icon for Airplay. Do I need to buy a subscription to AirPlay, or can I cast recordings using what I have!

You don’t need a subscription for airplay. The disappointing thing is that you can only use airplay between apple devices and some select smart tvs. It is not compatible with firestick or chromecast. One work around is to mirror your iphone screen to your tv. I’m not sure of the quality of doing this though.
