I select “OK” to record the program in the grid. This loads the recording menu. The “Create” option is greyed. Is it no longer possible to record a program currently in progress?
Not sure it was, but this varies by device.
It will be until the time you select is tweaked to be the current time as the Tablo can’t start a recording in the ‘past’.
For example if you tried to record a show airing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 10:05 a.m. the recording options would be to start in the past (10:00 a.m.).
Adjusting the recording parameters to choose 10:06 a.m. would allow you to select CREATE and continue.
We’ll make a note of this and see if we can adjust to make the ‘start’ time automatically adjust so that this process is less confusing for in-progress airings.
